incorrect HD percentage levels
[edit]According to the University of Melbourne and what's on my transcript, the previous percentage levels for HDs, credits etc are completely incorrect. I quote from the back of my academic transcript - which is pretty much standard, as far as I know, throughout AUstralia.--ToyotaPanasonic 15:37, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
I've got three degrees from three Australian institutions, and practice varies widely. One used the Oxbridge system (HD, D, CR, P, F), one used deciles, and the other used percentages. I've never heard the phrase "GPA" applied to an Australian grade or transcript, and I've been working for Australian universities for fifteen years.
Unless someone can provide a citation I think the whole concept is bogus in Australia and this article should be AfDed. Gdt (talk) 18:07, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
